PLEASE TELL ME WHY I ALWAYS GET THIS IN MY MS DOS PROMPT

ANY SUGGESTION WOULD BE THANKFULLYHi,

What you are seeing there is the Link-Local IPv6 address, which is assigning an IP address for communication within the local subnetwork. These don't foreward packets in other words.

If you're interested in learning more about it you could start with the basics via Wikipedia,

聽聽聽http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Link-local_鈥?/a>

Otherwise if you want more technical details just do a search for Link-local IPv6 address

Regards,

Javaladtype ipconfig

press enter.........
