If an answer was reported and then I appealed it, what is the process?

-I answered a question, and it was very nicely worded, I even suggested that she volunteer for her cause and the answer was reported. I appealed it, and have never heard an answer one way or another. The question that was asked has been deleted. This was a week ago. What is the process and how do you know if the answer was deemed okay or not?I had one deleted almost 2 weeks ago that there was nothing wrong with at all. You have to remember this place is full of all kinds of malicious people. They will report an answer just for the heck of it. Some will report an answer because they know it's right but they don't want you to know it. In other words, My answer was deleted because I told this person to use rkill before using malware bytes. Anybody who knows anything about computers knows that some malicious processes will stop malware bytes from opening or updating. Rkill kills these processes so malware bytes can work. Someone reported it as spam. Someone didn't want this person to know about rkill.

Yahoo answers isn't what it use to be. It will not be long before Answers will go the way 360 did. They did away with Yahoo 360 because of all the spammers and worse that were using it. Answers is on its way to the same fate. Eventually they will tire of all the crap they have to put up with and shut it down. Use to if you appealed you would hear back in 24 to 48 hrs. Now, You might and you might not. It's coming. They are getting tired of dealing with it.If the question was deleted, then the process ended. The answer is not counted as positive or negative so the answer is not deemed good or bad one way or another. The only points that you received for the answer are the two points that you received for answering the question in the first place.
If the question was deleted then your answer can't be restored if the appeal is successful. If that is the case, nothing happens. It becomes a non issue.

Most appeals only tale 2 or 3 days. You will get an answer yes or no by then unless the question was deleted.

If the answer was deleted you should treat the appeal as successful and forget about it.
I had one last week, and I appealed and told them as is, and asked them what the hell is wrong with my question, and 2 days later they replied and apologized, problem with Yahoo is they dont even read the question answers, and take the reporter's word at face value.
Yahoo seems to ignore a lot of them lately. Try sending one to y_answrs_team@yahoo.com
