-malwarebytes has no cleaning function,
it either removes the whole file or it don't
it's your choice.
if it is an infected system file ,
then you need to run the system file checker.
if you have windows 7, then you are out of luck.
there is a way to replace system files with clean copy's.
but there is not enough space here
to tell you how to do it .

.It takes the file with the virus and quarantines it, meaning it moves it to a special directory where it can't do any harm. It does this rather than delete in case it made a mistake and you need to recover it. If it's really a virus it's best to delete it from quarantine.
that all depends upon how bad the infection is....don't worry you can always download a free replacement file if you have to...or use your original OS disk to replace it.....the times you need to replace a file are few and far between....it usually just removes the virus....which most of the time is an .exe excutable one..........
