Is LastPass really that safe?

-I wan't to try LastPass ( https://lastpass.com/ ) so I just want to hear your opinion about it.The only reason I want it is because it works with pretty much all browsers and platforms and it makes the login pretty much automatic.I really dont find it any more secure than just using a password generator and let the Chrome and Firefox remember the passwords automatically.In fact when you use it you are placing all your passwords in one place so if someone cracks your lastpass password they get all your passwords.



I know I'm probably wrong so can you just explain me why is it safer than just using random password generator and letting browsers remember all the passwords?The reason why lastpass is safe because the password that saves in the browser are very easy to see u dnt even need to write a code for it, just about 8-10 clicks get you there for all browsers. With lastpass u have to log in and then enter the password again just to see the credentials. when log in into a website you cannot copy the actual password u see in the password field.



The Lastpass Program can be set up to how secure you want it, so even if they get the master password, there are other sets that need to be done before the person can even perform the search for credentials. i think u need to read more about its feature more and then you might look on it another way.



If you still have concerns about lastpass, just remember not to save your main and most valuable credentials. eg. the password for your email account u that u sign up lastpass with. Bank accounts and such for.



Lastpass also has fill forms and secure note, that help you fill out things faster and you can always define as many fill form u want and fields to enter into.

To me LastPass is a great programI am not impressed with most sites but this one I am...web of trust says excellent ratings...and from the user's comments...there all positive...so with that said...I believe this to be a Safe site...
