Do I disable windows defender to install microsoft security essentials?

-That's the whole question. Do I disable Windows Defender to install Security Essentials antivirus?Sandy Is 100% correct. I use MSE on all my computers and install it on all pc's that I repair. Since MSE is a antimalware app also, by default, MSE disables Windows Defender and is no longer needed.

AFAIK MSE and WD both do different thing so i don't beleave MSE will disable WD when it is installed. and there is no need to disable WD while installing MSE. Both can be run together.



PS: i don't have MSE or WD. Disabled WD long time ago.
