Does windows vista have enough protection to protect my computer?

Download, install and update Microsoft Security Essentials and you'll have a good baseline system. Then if you need it to be more secure, you can harden it to suit your needs.No. You need an Anti-Virus program installed in your computer. You also need an Anti-Spyware program installed.
I'm not sure if it applies to Vista but on Windows 7 i use Microsoft Security Essentials it's free and very good.
