Hey friends i wanted to know how to password protect my dlink connection..plz help as someone is using it...?

-i m unable to go 192.168.1.1..as it opens the dsl router of the bsnl not the dlink..and the modem does not have the security option ..the modem is of bsnl and the dlink model is "GLB-802C "plz help..I would download the manual for the dlink model you have from their website. Then, you may have to reset the dlink to factory settings to be able to talk to it. There is usually a little black reset button to do this with or a hole you stick a paper clip into. (But read the manual!) .



When you set up the router, you may have to connect it to a pc in standalone mode, that is, the dsl router will be disconnected from that PC.



I hope knowing this information will help you reset your router.
