Questscan downloaded itself to my computer! Uninstalling doesn't work!?

-I went to start and used Run to find QuestScan then this window appeared saying I uninstall-ed it but it really didn't! What do I do? It won't go away! I saw that some people said to use Spyware doctor but a bunch of people said that that has its own share of problems! Please help me!spyware doctor is not a free program if you try download it you will get infected again if you try getting a free version.(speaking from experience). as it relates to your problem i think you have a spyware and those are the most difficult to uninstall using antivirus or spyware programs.



Now lets get started. First go to start then type in "msconfig" if your using windows xp its start then you look for run. you will then see a window pop click on the startup tab. Since you may not have a clue what to do here i wild suggest you disable all startup programs except your antivirus programs. ONLY KEEP ANTIVIRUS PROGRAMS YOU KNOW YOU INSTALLED.

restart your computer then go to start, control panel, then uninstall programs. click on questscan if you can find it and then click uninstall. If that does not work try going to c drive then all programs and delete any files that say questscan.DONT GO TO C DRIVE IF YOU DONT KNOW WHAT YOUR DOING.
