How do I shut down my computer for a day or two?

-I just want it to temporarily break so my mom wont be able to go on it for about a day or two. Also, how can i fix it and turn it back on once this is done? I dont want things like "shut it down" i just want to trick her into thinking its broken and not being able to use it.. and trust me this is not for the bad reasons its for good reasonsyou dont say how computer literate you are, but if you take the side panel off the computer and disconnect the power wire from the hard drive it wont work until you plug the cord back in.
Behind the computer it should have O/I switch. Switch it to O
Remove the memory sticks, then it will just beep at you when it's switched on but will be unable to start. No harm done.
