How do you block website?

-The only existing answers I find are old and don't seem to work any more.

And is there any way to unblock it?Wasai Kiki is right about using the hosts file to block a website. The host file is located under the etc directory on your computer (C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc). You can use notepad to add the website you want to block to the file. I also created a program called 123BlockMe that does the same thing automatically for you if you can't figure it out. If you want to give it a try you can download it from http://www.123blockme.com

If you do decide to use it, let me know how it works out :)
Yeah there are ways to block websites. Your router should give you the ability to block certain websites by entering the URL's or Keywords into its filter. To access your router. Go to start. In the search bar type cmd then type ipconfig when the command prompt has loaded. Once thats done look for the ip address besides "Default Gateway". From there copy that IP address into your internet search bar. Then hit enter. You will be prompted by a username and password. Username is usually admin and the password is probably still the company defaut. Look up your router model to find its default password.
